Chinese TFT-LCD manufacturer BOE Technology (000725.SZ) has signed an agreement with the Hefei government, the Hefei Xincheng State-Owned Operations Corporation, and the Hefei Construction Investment and Holding Co, Ltd. Under the agreement the company will build a production line for sixth-generation TFT-LCD technology in Hefei, primarily focusing on rolling out TFT-LCD screens and modules 37 inches in size or smaller.
